Stevenson Children’s Camp is a hidden gem nestled in the woods on Gore Road just east of London Ontario. 125 acres of fun, nestled amongst farmland and rolling hills, once a farm, now a camp facility for underprivileged youth ages 7 to 10. The site includes 6 camper cabins, 3 staff cabins, a dining hall, rec hall, craft hall, pool, washrooms, wood lots, low ropes initiatives, trails, playing fields and lots more! Stevenson Children’s Camp has seasonal facilities that are open from May to October. We have accommodations for day use and overnight stays of up to 125 people for rent to school groups, businesses, and organizations. We have an optional catering service for meals, or facilities to prepare your own.

Enjoy walking our trails and many acres of free space for activities. In summer, the use of the camp pool is available for an additional fee. End your day with a cozy outdoor campfire, or in cooler temperatures, build a warming glow in the indoor fieldstone fireplace in the Rec Hall.

Dining Hall

This large hall is located in the main core area connected by a covered breezeway to our Rec Hall

Full Commercial kitchen includes dishes for 150, Dishwasher, Walk in Freezer, Commercial Stove, Ovens and Fridges

Rec Hall

Located next to our Dining Hall connected by a covered breezeway this building has lots of room for a variety of uses.

Large Fieldstone Fireplace

Large open area for indoor meetings or programming

Craft Hall

Our newly renovated craft hall is located on the hill above our dining hall and rec hall. It provides a great open space for crafts, games or indoor programming

Chairs and tables for 30-40 Features:
Open program area with garden doors to provide natural light and open air feeling
2 washrooms with showers

Open area for indoor meetings or programming

6 Camper Cabins

Stevenson Children’s Camp has 6 Camper cabins.
Capacity:
Each Cabin Sleeps 16 campers and 3 staff
Features:
Each cabin is divided into 3 rooms. With camper areas on either side of the staff bunks connected by curtained doorways.
All bunks are adult size
All cabins have baseboard heating for those chilly spring and fall evenings

Staff Cabin – Nemos (Health Care Centre)

Description:
This staff Cabin in located at the edge of the camper cabin area. It is the hub of activity during our summer program
Capacity:
Sleeping bunks for 6 Staff
Features:
Divided into three areas including small lounge area, office and sleeping quarters
Separate washroom with shower
Refrigerator
Office area with locked cupboard

Staff Cabin – Lion

Description:
This staff Cabin in located away from the main buildings, behind the dining hall. It has four separate bedrooms, living area and washroom
Capacity:
Sleeping for 10-12 Staff
Features:
Washroom with Shower
Common living area connects the four bedrooms
Each bedroom has sleeping for 2-3 plus dressers and shelves for storage
All bunks are adult size
Cabin has baseboard heating for those chilly spring and fall evenings

Staff Cabin – Deer

Description:
This staff Cabin in located away from the main buildings, behind the dining hall. It is divide into two separate living areas.
Capacity:
Sleeping for 2-3 on each side
Features:
Separate washroom on each side one with shower
Each bedroom has sleeping for 2-3 plus dressers and shelves for storage
All bunks are adult size
Cabin has baseboard heating for those chilly spring and fall evenings

Low ropes course

Stevenson Children’s Camp offers a wonderful selection of low ropes initiatives elements designed to challenge a group of any size. These elements teach leadership skills, group unity and listening skills all while having fun.
Campfire site

We offer a wonderful outdoor campfire site with log seating, great for those memorable camp songs and roasting marshmallows.
Marked nature trails

Bring your hikers or running shoes and take a relaxing walk through our marked and maintained nature trails.

Acres of lawns

Great for outdoor sports, games, and lots of other outdoor activities. There are two covered pavilions located at the upper end of the property that provide protected picnic and activity areas.
